The Catalan giants need to make at least one big-money sale this summer to balance the books and comply with La Liga’s 1:1 rule. This would allow them to register new signings like Joan Garcia and Nico Williams, and finalise key renewals. Though Fermin is not among the top names listed for transfer, his sale would bring pure profit with a €50 million (£42m/$57m) valuation and low wages making him an attractive asset.
